Welcome to the world of the Rain Appreciation Society, established to celebrate the life-giving properties and the power of the rain. We want to hear from all other lovers of the rain and wet weather around the world. Everyone thinks something about the rain. Some express their feelings through poetry, or songs. Others through painting, drawing or photography. Some just want to tell others what the weather is like. Others want to examine the different types of rain in different parts of the world, from fine Scottish drizzle to monsoon stair rods.
We love the rain

Water is essential to life. Every living thing needs water from rain. Every human needs safe, clean water to drink in order to maintain good health. Yet millions of people in the world have to live without this vital essential. WaterAid works hard to help these people access the clean water they need to live. The work they do changes the lives of many people who desperately need clean water and better sanitation. The Rain Appreciation Society recognises the importance of their work and we want to do our bit to fund their missions. For every New Member who joins the society we will donate £3 to WaterAid – And that’s a promise.

I’m not sure why but this web site is loading very slow for me. Is anyone else having this issue or is it a issue on my end? I’ll check back later and see if the problem still exists.
